CUMFI's Metis Cultural Days Sept. 7-10, 2023 is in celebration of the Year of the Family and Community. This is a FREE event full of indoor and outdoor events. The Pelletier Family will entertain on the Kayas stage at the end of Boomtown Street indoors at 1:50pm.
Show is free with your admission to the Fair.

We are performing Aug 2 and 4 from 3-5pm at the Prince Albert Ex in the Main Hall. It's free with admission onto the grounds. Make a day of it, come on out to hear us, have some fair food and catch the chuckwagon races! Hope to see you there.

Joining Canadian recording artist and former Neil McCoy fiddler, Donny Parenteau and 2016 SCMA Legend and Legacy award recipient and former guitarist for Ian Tyson, Freddie Pelletier and his wife, Sheila, is Donna and LeRoy Anderson. This duo became a household name in the 70's performing weekly on The Tommy Hunter Show until the demise of the show. They pursued a singing and songwriting career for decades in both Canada and Nashville and were inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
This show displays a powerhouse of talent that will delight their audience and will likely include some humorous road stories. This is sure to be an epic event, like no other!

CJVR Performing Arts Theatre in the Kerry Vickar Centre, 206 Bemister Ave E, Melfort, SK
Jake Vaadeland is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Saskatchewan, Canada. His traditional sound and unique style could be defined as a blend of Bluegrass and 50s Rockabilly, with Jake also specializing on guitar and banjo in addition to his impressive, vocals. Jake strives to write and play with a focus on storytelling and messages that he hopes his audience can relate to, all packaged in foot stomping, high energy performances with The Sturgeon River Boys. Jake received 4 2022 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, including Fans Choice Entertainer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year.
